Program Description

This unique study-abroad experience immerses CSU students in the history, culture, and filmmaking of South Korea. Students will study the art and history of South Korean filmmaking, and will work side by side with South Korean filmmakers and students on media projects during this intensive course. While surrounded by the majestic natural beauty of South Korea, students will learn the basics of producing, shooting, and editing documentary films. The majority of the course will take place at the University in Daejeon, South Korea and the surrounding region with visits to additional cultural and historical sites in Seoul. This is an amazing opportunity to share a cross cultural learning experience with students from South Korea while learning to make documentary films.
